The DermaplanePro Skin Prep Solution has been formulated specifically for dermaplaning. It leaves the client’s skin soft, smooth and dry with no residue. The blade will glide smoothly over the skin for a faster, easier and better result. This formula contains both alpha and beta-hydroxy acids (AHA/BHA) to effectively degrease the skin and begin the exfoliation process, while honeysuckle extract provides antioxidant support and a light natural fragrance.

The DermplanePro Skin Prep Solution is easily tolerated and can be used on all skin types (patch testing is advised on clients with sensitive skin). It is also a great prep for microdermabrasion. The salicylic acid is beneficial in minimising post-treatment breakouts in acne prone clients. It doesn’t contain any artificial colours or preservatives and is cruelty free.

<div>The AHA/BHA Skin Prep Solution was formulated specifically for use prior to dermaplaning. It is an essential step for removing any remaining cleanser residue, dirt, makeup, and oils left on the skin after cleansing. It contains lactic acid which loosens the bonds between skin cells to promote exfoliation and salicylic acid, which is anti-bacterial and helps dissolve impurities trapped in the skin.</div>
<strong>Protocol:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Cleanse – Choose a gel based cleanser for oily/acne prone skin. Cleanse twice to remove makeup and other impurities. Remove with warm steam towel. (If appropriate, cleanse under steam.)</li>
<li>Prep – Apply AHA/BHA Skin Prep Solution with 2×2 gauze (being careful to avoid eyes).</li>
<li>Nourishe – Apply one pump to face and neck (being careful to avoid eyes).</li>
<li>Dermaplane – Face and sides of the neck using a #10R blade held at a 45 degree angle, with light pressure and slow relaxing movements – approximately 6-8 strokes per area.</li>
<li>Enzyme – Apply NuPeel Natural Enzyme to skin immediately after dermaplaning. (Can be applied over Nourishe Dermaplaning Oil). Light effleurage massage for several minutes will active the enzyme. You’ll know it’s working when it starts to liquify and bead remaining skin cells. Remove with a warm steam towel when enzyme begins to lose its slip (approx 2-3 minutes).</li>
<li>Extractions – Perform extractions as needed.</li>
<li>(Optional) Chemical Peel – Apply according to peel manufacturers instructions. Less time on tissue is needed for time and remove peels. Fewer layers are needed for layered and self-neutralising peels. (Skip mask if using a self-neutralising peel.)</li>
<li>Mask – Apply appropriate mask for brightening, hydrating, calming, etc. following mask manufacturers instructions.</li>
<li>Finishing Products – Apply appropriate serum(s), moisturiser, eye cream, &amp; SPF.</li>
