Berodin Blue is our signature hot wax beads, providing quick, efficient results and a less painful waxing experience. Formulated with revolutionary flexible polymers, this stripless wax can be applied in multiple sections without breaking or becoming rigid. Heated at low temperatures to minimize irritation, Berodin Blue adheres only to the hair and not the skin itself. Safely removing both fine and coarse hair, it creates a smooth finish with minimum skin reactions.

Key Rules:

Apply wax in the direction of the hair growth, remove against it.
Keep one hand alongside the body when you are removing the strip with the other hand.
Keep the skin tight at all times! (Have the client help you on areas where you feel you need assistance.)

FACE (BROWS, LIPS, CHIN, BEARD, NECKLINE, HAIRLINE, EARS, NOSE)

Dry wipe to remove makeup. Apply Jet Set or Berodin Blue wax in as many areas as possible for most efficient use of time. Apply wax evenly leaving good edges so you do not have to pick to get the wax started. Picking is very irritating for the skin and the client. For lips, go over lip edge to get the hairs in the corners of the mouth and along the lip. (Do not do this if lips are chapped, as it will pull off the skin.) After waxing, apply Blemish Control Gel if clients are prone to breakouts or it is their first time getting waxed. Finish with Post Wax Soothing Cream – especially for clients who turn extremely red.

UNDERARMS, BIKINI AND BRAZILIAN

Wipe the area with an antiseptic (eg: Berodin Lavender Lotion) and apply a SMALL amount of Berodin Jasmine Oil. Using Berodin Blue or Jet Set Wax, apply evenly with good edges, and make sure the wax extends past the area of the hair. That way, when you are getting to the edge, you are not pulling hairs and irritating your customer. Apply Clear It if clients are prone to ingrowns or breakouts. Use Post Wax Soothing Cream to calm redness or inflammation.

ARMS, LEGS, BACK & CHEST

Use Berodin Black Strip Wax for these areas, and start by applying a small amount of Berodin Jasmine Oil to all areas you are waxing. You want the wax to be as thin as possible for the best application and the product will last longer. That does not mean the wax should be hotter, just needs to be applied properly. Apply wax to all areas that can be reached easily, such as the front of the leg. Spread smoothly from below the knee and down, covering the feet and toes if they need to be done. Do not ask clients, just do it. Do not go over an area with a spatula trying to get the wax thinner, it will not work. Using one non-woven strip, start at the bottom, systematically removing the wax and working from the bottom up. Change strips when you feel like it. As you get more experienced, you will use less wax and fewer strips. Bend the leg to wax over the knee area. When you are finished waxing, spread a generous amount of Berodin Jasmine Oil over the waxed area, take a non-woven strip and firmly rub the area. This will remove all stickiness and leave the area comfortable. If someone has a histamine response, follow with Post Wax Soothing Cream.

AFTER WAX CARE

Berodin Body Wash is a fantastic retail product. Formulated with Glycolic, but safe for everyday use, sell this to each and every client to keep their freshly waxed skin blemish free!
