Microneedling – often referred to as dermal needling or collagen induction therapy (CIT) – is a well-established technology with proven results. Treating everything from wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and dull skin to issues such as scars, stretch marks, and cellulite (although results depend on many factors) and even hair loss! One of the most marked improvements seen is an improvement in the overall look and quality of the skin.

Our training class with device + complete starter kit is only $2500 +GST (with smaller packages available also). Charging $150-350 a treatment, you have the ability to earn $3,000 to $7,000 in treatment revenue, easily recouping your training cost!

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is often called Collagen Induction Therapy, Mesotherapy, Dermal Needling or “Dermalrolling”. These are mostly the same concept.

The purpose of this procedure is:
1. Transdermal delivery – The tiny punctures in the skin from the needles create “micro channels” that allow sterile mesotherapy solutions to penetrate and absorb into the deeper layers of skin to deliver more powerful results.

2. Trauma – controlled micro-injuries move the skin into healing mode and stimulates collagen and elastin production. This process plumps skin and improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars and pores.

Course Content

We utilise a range of professional-only products/brands during training. The needling techniques we teach are brand neutral should you need training and wish to continue with an existing brand. (Our trainers can advise on compatibility and common FAQ’s for most brands) We also stock all microneedling products you will be able to purchase at wholesale rates post-training.

This class covers both theory and practical application of microneedling. You will see, feel and perform a dermal needling treatment on the day.

On the day (6-7 hours) we work on models as well as covering theory. Includes:

Pre-requisites

Pre-Requisites for this course:

Beauty Therapy Certificate or Diploma or equivalent
Nurse, Dentist or dental assistant/technician

Beauty Students are eligible for this course once they have completed Level 4.

This is an in-person group class. As dermal needling is an advanced treatment, we also recommend at least one year of industry experience before attending.

Please note, we cannot train unsuitable candidates (eg: you need to have a beauty or medical qualification/background and accompanying knowledge of skin, anatomy & first aid prior). Medical grade skin needling is a risky treatment in unqualified hands and should never be performed by ‘everyday people’ at this level. Please don’t be offended if we ask for proof of qualification or turn you away after enquiring. We are committed to upholding high standards.
